Freelance Graphic Designer, Studio & Production Artist
I’ve done extensive freelance jobs with Duffy & Partners (10 months), Hunt Adkins (11 months), Fame (3 months), Best Buy (9 months), along with shorter-term freelance work for another seven advertising agencies, and two in-house corporate gigs around the Twin Cities Area.

In these numerous roles I’ve:
• Concepted and designed identity pieces, print ads, brochures, direct mail, book layout, and more.

• In a Studio/Mac Artist role, worked closely with the Art Director and Graphic Designers to facilitate and expedite the concepting and design process, allowing the creative staff to more freely work on the visual and strategic layout of the creative.

• Worked in Production Artist role to finalize and prepare artwork before sending to printer or separator.

• Identified, scanned, resized, and retouched images.

• Created vector artwork from scanned artwork and drawings.

• Prepared concept artwork for client presentations that included the creation of pdf files, presentation printouts, construction of mockups, and boarding of artwork.

• Directed photo shoots and searched for appropriate stock photography for clients.

• Worked closely with printers to discuss job specifications, such as paper stock, printing method,
final press checks, and cost of printing.
