Thank you for visiting my website. In all likelihood, you are visiting it because you need to hire a graphic or production artist. Well, you are in the right place! As you might have seen from my resume, after almost seven years in Southern California working in the advertising/design business, I moved to the Twin Cities where I have been doing contract design and production work since June of 2005. Everybody asks me why I would move from San Diego to Minnesota—no, I'm not out of my mind—it’s as simple as my roots are here. My husband Paul (also a native Minnesotan) made the move with me, along with my poodle Maggie (a California girl).

Whew! Now that we've got that covered, let's get down to business.  To summarize for you, I consider myself to be an expert in the entire Adobe family of products including InDesign. I am also an expert with Quark, and am familiar with Macromedia software. Since moving back to Minnesota I’ve been doing full-time freelance work with close to a dozen agencies, and just recently wrapped up a lengthy stint at Duffy & Partners. In other new and exciting developments, earlier this year I formed Sunnyside Creative, LLC. Apparently my tax advisor seems to think that’ll cut down a little bit on the ol’ IRS bill each year!

Looking a little further back, from November 2000 until we made the move to Minnesota I was the Art Director for Spearhall Advertising & PR in San Diego.  In this position, the bulk of our clients needed print-related pieces created, but we also dabbled in web design. Since I was essentially the entire Art Department, I handled projects from top to bottom for all of our clients. I also handle some occasional freelance projects for friends & family, and over the last couple of years have done the design and layout for several books.
